ABOUT AUDREY

 

I grew up in the Paris area and my mom likes to tell the story of when I ate my first crêpe.
I was under 3 years old and we were having breakfast as a family on a Saturday. My dad (who liked to tease) asked me to give him my crêpe. I must have thought there was a real threat and I promptly stuffed it in my mouth. (chubby baby cheeks make for great storage room!)

Since then, I have made countless of crêpes to feed friends and family in the Paris area and now, in Iowa.
Whether they are easy or fancy, we love them all!

While struggling with health issues and restrictive diets for years, I have always found my place in the kitchen.
I believe that delicious food that is nourishing is a blessing and a great way to show we care for others.

ABOUT JASON

Jason is my (American) husband from Waterloo, Iowa.
He loves to travel and has lived in France for several years, doing campus ministry.
He enjoys tasting food from many countries and he is an avid Star Wars fan.
You will most likely see him around talking to someone :-) 
While I make the food, he eats it. We are a great team!
